Our latest client website launched this week – a replacement site helping energy-reduction product provider KAST Energy Technologies stand out and stay ahead.
Based in the north west, KAST sell to both domestic and commercial customers in what is a competitive and fast-moving sector. With new providers constantly looking to take a foothold, the team were keen to strengthen their branding and update their website. They asked us to create a consistent look for the brand and to provide a contemporary website they could update quickly and easily.
Our first step was to take their existing branding and rationalise the use of colours, fonts, and the logo itself. We then created a bespoke set of illustrations. These add personality, and are an engaging alternative to stock photography shots. A flexible collage approach makes it easy to slot in different elements to give different messages.
On top of this, we designed a series of icons to highlight the various products available. All branding elements are flexible and can be used effectively both in print and online.
With the branding and design side of the project complete, our technical team set to work. Importantly, we spent as much time on behind-the-scenes development as on the appearance of the site. The result was an easy-to-use content management system that means the KAST team can make changes to site content as and when they need.
